Aaron and his team just finished refacing two large red brick chimneys with high quality stone. He does what he says, he’s respectful, he’s reasonable, and he and his team do absolutely amazing work. Their attention to detail and customer service is uncommonly strong. I have a very high bar, and I don’t recall any contractor who has ever exceeded my expectations. Aaron and his team have, and as long as he’s doing masonry in the area, I’ll never look anywhere else. I would strongly encourage you to include AB in any proposal for masonry work before you make your final decision who to work with.

Natural Stone Veneer Reface
Thank you so much to Aaron and his crew for basically saving our house! We’ve been frantically picking up the pieces after a botched project by our contractor, and after realizing he left gaping holes cut out of our brick veneer with absolutely no structural support, we contacted AB Masonry in a panic. Aaron was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and kind, and offered to swing by in the next few days to shore up the brick until he had time in his schedule to properly install a steel lintel over the opening.
His crew came out the very next week to install lintels and re-lay all the jagged and haphazardly sawed brick. They even managed to find off-white brick that almost perfectly matched our painted house. The finished work looks incredible and was done so much quicker than we could have hoped for, given the last-minuteness of our project. I’d recommend Aaron and his team to anyone.

Brick Veneer Repair and Lintel Installation
We’ve had Aaron and his crew out to do three different projects now. He’s the consúmate professional — a clear communicator who follows through on his commitments with exceptional work. He neatly knit new brick work with our house’s existing brick facade and the transition is barely noticeable; saving a wall that was at risk of falling apart. A few weeks later, he poured us a new front landing to replace cracked and sagging field stone and ensured it was graded properly to repel rain from pooling by our door. We, and likely Aarons competition, would never think of such a small, but incredibly important detail.
Most recently, he replaced a concrete sidewalk that had buckled and sagged. Because of their efficiency and skill, Aaron and his team were able to do the demolition, prep work, the pour, and the finishing touches in the space of a single day.
Aaron is a second-generation mason (we had the great pleasure of also meeting his father) and it’s clear he’s continuing a tradition of superlative work, honesty, and outstanding customer service.

Brick Facade Restoration

I solicited several bids from different masonry companies, only a few of whom responded. AB had great reviews, so when they came in significantly lower on price than the other highly-rated local mason, I chose them. Aaron was prompt with providing me an estimate and was on time for the bid appointment. He warned me upfront that their schedule was pretty booked up and fortunately, I was in no rush. They finished up work today and the finished job looks amazing. I’ve been getting compliments from all my neighbors. AB came in at budget. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Brick Porch Rebuild
Aaron and his crew are nothing short of amazing. They took on an extensive exterior brick project to restore our old brick home to its former glory including building a brick front fence prepped for iron work, brand new brick steps all along our home, extensive backyard planters, and a statement herringbone patio. The results were truly stunning! They added things like drainage without us ever having to ask, and their work is true craftsmanship. They can handle any size of job, are a pleasure to work with, and have an incredible aesthetic sense, and are capable of doing period-appropriate work on older homes. I interviewed 4 people before choosing a mason for our project and am so happy we went with AB Masonry, highly recommend.

Brick Herringbone Patio And Planter Remodel
I was looking for a company that could repair a failing brick retaining wall and re-grout our brick stairs… We decided to go with Aaron and we’re so happy we did. Our biggest concern was matching the brick with the rest of the remaining brickwork. Our house and all that brick work was built back in 1975. Aaron located some brick nearby in Bellevue but wasn’t enough to complete the job. He located more brick in Spokane and took a day and drove over there to pick it up. That’s going the extra mile to get the job done in my book especially when the pass was a mess. The wall is beautiful and much stronger than it was originally with some additional things he did to add longevity to our new and improved brick retaining wall at a fair price. I would highly recommend AB Masonry. Thank you Aaron for a job well done!!!

Chimney Restoration
We had a major leak in our chimney area and Aaron from AB Masonry came right out to evaluate the issues. He was able to demo the existing crown, build a new one and clean/seal the bricks. He also caulked the flashing around the chimney to ensure that there were no more leaks. Aaron was prompt, highly professional and always wore a mask. He also cleaned up every day before he left. I would recommend AB Masonry to anyone that requires masonry work. Thank you Aaron!

Chimney Rebuild
AB Masonry is top notch for all things masonry. I have nothing but great praise for the company itself and, in particular, Aaron and Sam that did the brickwork (tuckpointing) on my front porch. They are, in its truest sense, professionals; in addition to being honest, candid, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The ‘can do’ pro-active attitude is a delight to experience. They went the extra mile to cater to my special requirement and it was well reflected in the workmanship. They’re definitely worth it, so I’m having them do my chimney and fireplace next. They absolutely know their business and love their job!
